A functional justice system is one of the main pillars of a society. Once you become a lawyer or an attorney, you help people protect their interests and help them get justice against acts of injustice and violation.
During your legal studies you will learn about the rule of law and about the justice system of India as well as other major countries of the world. There are dedicated modules on international laws. We fully understand that we live in a globally connected world and once you have completed your legal studies at RIMT you should be able to work anywhere in the world after initial briefing and orientation. You will learn about the rights and responsibilities of citizens.
Although law is a lot about knowing facts and antecedents, critical thinking is also one of the most important aspects of being a lawyer or an attorney. You should be able to see what others cannot. Amidst the underbrush of confusion and obfuscation, you should be able to spot the fruit of truth. Even if you don’t have these capabilities inherently, our learning methodology is such that it forces every student to focus and think and look for information that helps them to deduce and analyze. Lots of stress is put on practical legal problem-solving. We have a huge conventional and digital library of thousands of legal cases that our students can browse through and learn.
Whether you’re looking for a full-fledged career in law and justice system or you want to get a basic knowledge of civilian and business law as a complimentary skill, our school of legal studies offers courses ranging from one year to five years.
